How My Journey Began…
At only 13 years old and 225 pounds, I felt trapped, self conscious, and like an outcast among my peers.
With zero knowledge of nutrition and fitness, I yo-yo dieted for a decade, from keto to juice cleanses… I lost weight, but my eating became so disordered that it didn’t matter if I’d experience dizzy spells from the lack of food I ate.
Spoiler alert, no diet or “clean eating” lifestyle never satisfied what I really wanted which was self-love and confidence. I never felt good enough and I robbed myself the gift of life in my pursuit of being “skinny.”
It wasn’t until 2014 that I discovered the practice of Intuitive Eating did I really understand what it meant to be healthy and free in my body. For once, I didn’t obsess over protein or carbohydrate grams. I ditched calorie trackers. I tuned into my body and sought a more a plant-based lifestyle.
I also immersed myself in a spiritual healing journey with yoga and energy healing. Once I stopped focusing on weight loss and switched my intentions to just healing from the inside-out, my body released the heaviness on its own.
Since healing my relationship to my body, I’ve accomplished all the things that I thought were impossible, one of which was Eclectic Wellness, as well as creating a life with my soul mate in San Diego, becoming a published author, and starting a podcast, Nutrition for the Soul. Let my journey be a reminder of what’s possible for you if you knew how to properly nourish your mind, body, and soul.
Why Eclectic Wellness?
Eclectic (adjective):
deriving ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources
Having tried every diet and every popular health tip, I realized that there is a missing piece in our healthcare/wellness industry and that’s spiritual healing. It’s not just about looking “good,” how do you want to feel?
Spiritually healing can help you end the self-sabotage and limiting beliefs to finally be the best you you’re meant to be. In our work together, I utilize energy healing and intuitive life coaching to help you look AND feel your best.
